BREAKFAST...THE BEST MEAL OF THE DAY!...
My great-grandma (Mamaw--she is my mom's dad's mom) came to visit for the holidays. We played host and hostess for a few days and I am so thankful for the time we had together. It is not often that you get to spend 72 hours in close quarters learning eachothers every move. I learned pretty fast though...Mamaw loves breakfast! She is up and ready for the full meal every morning. We had toast, bacon, eggs, bacon, pancakes, bacon, fresh fruit and more bacon every morning...can I just say YUMMY! It was a feast for me!
Mamaw has an amazing memory. She can tell you stories from way back when and back again. Mom loves to hear the stories of when she was a little girl and what things were like 70 plus years ago.
Mamaw is considering making a move to Houston. She is not feeling as well as she would like and is looking into some of the independent living facilities in the area. Please be praying that she will stay strong, feel healthy and be able to make the best decision for her future. It is difficult to make such a big change, but we may have more time together afterall. She is already planning her next trip. Even with all the holiday chaos, a good share of RGT whines and no one sleeping well...SHE LOVES ME!
