A DAY IN THE LIFE...
Here is a glimpse of a day in the life of me at 30 weeks. It makes mom tired just lookin' at it. From here to there and back again. You can see from all the pictures that I am one busy boy.
Here are a few insights. I have new sunglasses for the pool. They took some getting used to, but mom and dad insist that I wear them.
My girlfriend, Miss Julia, gave me a new taggie blanket for my baby dedication. I love it...so many choices of what to chew on. And now, I can even play peek-a-boo with mom too.
Notice my feet, I like to keep them crossed. Mom and dad always try to uncross them for me, but just like a rubberband, they pop right back.
See the swirls in my hair. I have 2 in the back. Mom met a lady at school that said that meant her next child would be a girl. No plans for that yet, mom and dad like to spoil me and only me. What a good deal!
I pick up all kinds of things off the floor, including the phone. I am a muscle man! I just wanted to call my grandma. When are you coming back over?
And check out my lips. Mom calls this my old man face. She loves this one the best because my cheeks poke out.
All you parents that are lookin' for some fun; check out the learning table. It makes great sounds and sings to me. Mom and dad like to push the buttons too. Mom likes the spicy pizza and dad like to stir the soup.

Time for a nap!

WHATA DAY!...
After my dedication we headed for Uncle Scott's Graduation. I was pooped! Uncle Gene made a great pillow while 700 plus names were called. I missed Unlce Scott's name, but I celebrated with him afterwards. It stopped raining just in time for us to take some quick pictures outside. Then we were off to Trulucks for dinner. I don't think mom and dad will be taking me back there anytime soon. I was a bit too fidgity. My voice echoes in that place; pretty neat huh. I got lots of piggy back rides, walks outside, bounces, songs and finally another bottle during dinner. I wanted to eat with the fam too.

Congratulations Unkie Munkie!

The B.I.B.L.E.
Now that's the book for me. Aunt Melissa and Uncle Gene got me my first interactive Bible. I have chewed on it for hours. I love the bright pictures. Did you know that God made my favorite insect? The bumble bee. This bible has a bumble bee on a string. What a great idea!

I think they are ready for their own little me :)

JESUS LOVES ME...
And so does my family. I was dedicated a Jersey Village Baptist Church on May 28th. I had lots of friends and family there to support and pray for me and promise that they too would help bring me up to be Christian young man.

Family bonds.

YUMMY, YUMMY, YUMMY...
I got food in my tummy! From cereal to sweet potatoes, squash and now carrots; I love it all. I try to feed myself sometimes. This makes clean up a little more difficult for mom, but she encourages me anyway. So far, I like rice cereal and carrots the best. Squash made my belly hurt! We had to give that one up for awhile. Next on the list are the fruits; Oh yea! Mom thinks I will like apples the best. She ate 3 a day when I was still in her belly; WHOA, that's a lot of apples. Then back to the veggies. I need my greens. Mom was just happy I didn't turn orange.

Not quite restaurant ready...

A REAL DRINK...
Forget about the sippy cups; I want a real drink. Mom and dad beware! I want whatever you're having. Good news! This cup has ice water.
Someone asked mom if I knew where my food came from. She responded, OH YEA! All mom has to do is show me a bottle, the mixing powder or just walk me by the cabinet and I am ready to eat; or at least get a swig or two of water.

MINE!

CRABBY AT 29 WEEKS...
How sweet, mom got me a Mother's Day gift too. Okay, I admit, I screamed for it. It was her fault though, she took me to the store too close to bed time. This crab does some really cool tricks...it clicks. You may notice the eyes a little out of wack they spend most of the time in my mouth.

I'm all smiles now...I have a new crab.

HELLO LADIES...
My Unkie Munkie is a graduate! We celebrated with friends and fam 2 weekends in a row. That is when I discovered that I am a real babe magnet. Mom tried to keep the ladies away, but I am a real flirt. I just called out "Hey!" and they came a runnin'. I love the new glasses too, they give me the top gun effect.

Ladies, ah the ladies...

SITTIN' ON MY POCKETS...
Mom is always telling her kindergarteners to sit on their pockets and now I can do it too. I have my boppy to help me here, but I can sit independently for short periods of time too. I like to reach for objects on the floor around me and try to eat my toes. That's when the sitting position gets a little complicated. I just pull through and lay on my belly then.

GRRRR...this lion tastes good.

6 MONTHS VS. MILLIONS OF YEARS...
I'm such a big boy; 6 months old. Here I am in my big boy clothes. No more teddy bears. Now I am featured with dinosaurs. My hair is growing out and now I have little spikes on top and mad scientist hair on the sides. Mom and dad are considering changing my halloween costume. They are thinking that Albert Einstein might be a good pick. They are just sure that I will have curly hair like them. I am a rollin' man these days. I decide which way I will lay. Mom puts me on my belly and I just roll on to my back. I have a whole new vocabulary of sounds. I still like Hey and Hi, but I have added const/vowel sounds too. I also experiment with my range. I shreek and shrill and scream and then sing and hum and moan too. Mom and dad are having all kinds of fun these days. 6 months is a great age to be.

RUB A DUB DUB...
Reagan's in the tub along with all his bath friends. Reagan has outgrown is first tub and is onto his second. He loves being able to recline and still splash his feet in the water below. Oliver the Octopus is in his mouth. He is Reagan's favorite friend. Oliver is usually worn as a derby in the tub, but today he was chewed on. Reagan threw his first fit when I had to take Oliver away to wash his face. Daddy doodles came a runnin'. He couldn't believe his ears! The tears and screams stopped as soon as Oliver was returned. Also featured in this picture are Stanley the Starfish, Frita the Fish and Freddy Frog. Oh yes, everyone has a name in our house.

This is the life.

MY NEW HAT..
Buggies! My new hat is covered in bugs. I love it and my mama does too. It is just the right size to pull down over my eyes. I can be shaded and play games with it too. What a sweet thing for my grandma to do--she got me my new hat!

Ready for the park, the pool or any outside adventures.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!...
I got to celebrate with my mama and her mama, plus my daddy's mama too. Lot's of love in the city and the country!

Kiss, Kiss!

NEW MEANING...
Same toy, a whole new experience. Reagan has discovered that he can reach the fish mobil that spins above his head and that he can move all the little creatures on the activity bar. He actually pulled himself to a sitting position using the bar. I can tell that our days are numbered. Reagan is ready to move.

Reagan studies the creatures on the bar, then moves them one by one.

BIG BOY...
I'm in! My big boy carseat is installed and I think it is great! What an ordeal; it took mom and dad over an hour to install it properly. Who would have known that reading directions could be so difficult. Oh well, everytime we cruise in the car, I'm asleep. This thing is padded on top of padding. I refer to it as my recliner. Mom has to figure out what to do about my legs though. I have more leg than this seat allows for. I'm ready to face forward, but I have 6 more months before that happens. I can't believe I am already having to worry about space. Dad told me about this problem. Us tall boys...we always get squished!

Reagan loves his new ride.

THERE THEY ARE...
Look what I found. FEET! You would not believe how long I have been looking for these things. They taste amazing. There is just nothing quite like sweaty toes. Mom and dad say I have cochroach legs. They are always moving back and forth. I just get so excited; I wiggle all over the place. One of these days I will just dance away (preferably to Celine Dion escorted by my mama.)

Reagan found 10 little piggies

BUZZZZZ...
Bee, Bee, bumble bee. Stung a man upon his knee. Stung a pig upon his snout and ended up in Reagan's mouth! Reagan loves insects, things that crinkle and fish. Not much has changed in 27 weeks as far as that goes. This is the latest toy for his Exersaucer. A crinkle bee. Two loves in one. It's perfect! Reagan has a whole new voice these days. He is experimenting with tones of screams..happy ones of course. He squeals and belly laughs often. He is noticing when I leave the room and will stop and look at me when I sneeze or cough. What a gentleman! I assure him I am okay and then he just laughs. Reagan can roll in both directions now from his belly to his back and has the perfect posture when sitting. He is reaching for objects that he wants and pulls them to him. Of course, he always wants what is in your hands. He will even try to drink out of your glass. We have to be careful with that one. Reagan is making his will known and has his mama wrapped around his little finger. We took a trip to Babies R Us recently. He ended up with two new toys. I guess that was a lesson I needed to learn. Don't show a baby a toy he can't keep. :) He giggled and played with them as soon as he saw them and cried when I took them away...needless to say, Reagan loves his new toys!

MR. INDEPENDENT AT 26 WEEKS...
Talk about a do it yourself kinda guy...that's me. I like to feed myself these days. I can even drink water from my sippy cups. I can't wait for the real food. Mom is reading books and preping for making my baby food. Dad says that is pretty funny...she doesn't cook grown up food much. I have to wait until next weekend though. I have an ear infection and I am on medicine for that...no need to mix the meds. with new foods. One new experience at a time. I don't think mom could handle them together.

Reagan loves to participate. His hands are into everything these days.

RGT, OUR LITTLE MONKEY MAN...
He can roll! You have to understand how exciting this is for him. He worked hard and he is enjoying being more mobil. He wants to walk or scoot or stand so badly. He has dancing feet the minute you touch them to the ground. Reagan is using his legs a lot these days and is learning to push more with his arms too. He is able to sit for short times in his tripod sit position. He is counting down the days until he reaches independence with that one. He is reaching for objects and using his pinchers more to find smaller objects; of course everything, including this monkey, goes in his mouth.

Reagan Gentry at 25 weeks

ANYONE SEEN A BASEBALL?...
I'm ready for the game; if I could just find my baseball! These are my Easter eggs. I love them! They are just the right size for my little hands and perfect for chewing! Check me out...I even have the face for a spitball.

Reagan Gentry decides he likes baseball best of all.

JUST LET ME DO IT...
I am chowing down on cereal these days. I am used to having it in my bottle, but this spoon thing is a whole new experience. I try to help mom get it in my mouth, but somehow it always ends up on my face too. I am a beginner in these pictures. You should see me now...mom says I will get veggies by the end of the week. I can't wait! What will she feed me next? I thought my bib tasted good...I have a lot to look forward too.

HAPPY EASTER...I'M 5 MONTHS!...
I had a great Easter Sunday. I got to see both sides of the family. I had to pose for quite a few pictures, but I enjoyed all the attention. The Easter Bunny was good to me and then I got to go church. I sang along to all my favorites and then I even talked back to Pator Ed. I agreed with all he had to say. I thought I should let him know. I will be dedicated at my church on May 28th at 8am. I am looking forward to my day. Here are a few of my pictures. I loved being one of the boys, but you can tell by the look on my face that the woman are more fun!

23 WEEKS WITH MY DAD...
I am 23 weeks old and feelin' good. It is a great age to be. I can reach and grab objects, use my fingers as pinchers, observe the world around me and participate a bit more each day. I laugh and cackle too. I hum along to all my favorite songs, blow spit bubbles, and entertain myself and others quite well. I can roll to one side and pull my knees in too. I rub my feet together like a little cricket and make mom and dad roll with laughs. Dad rubs his feet together all the time. I still love to talk and to listen to all the things going on around me. Outside is my favorite place to be. I put absolutely EVERYTHING in my mouth. I love fabric and all the textures it has to offer. The way I kick my legs and scoot about mom says I will be crawling before I ever roll. I keep telling her that I am a chunka munka man and there is just too much of me to move that way...she helps out. This is my new toy. It is a vibrating, bouncing, singing elephant...I like to chew on its trunk. Dad likes to make it bounce on my belly. I love being me!

Happy B-day Mr. RGT!

HAVE YOU SEEN MY GLASSES?...
I love to read books! Mom made it her obsession to gather as many books as she could before I was born. Teacher bonus points really helped out in that area. Plus, I got lots of great reads from my baby showers too. I look at all the pictures as I am being read to and I love silly voices. I even help turn the pages. I am adding to the character of the books as well. I teeth on the edges and slobber too. Mom tries to let me use the foam books for this. Aunt Melissa loaned me her glasses for the day. Thanks Aunt Mel. I had lots of reading to catch up on.

What can I say...I'm a book worm!

FUNNY MAN!...
I'm 22 weeks old. It is a great age to be. I am grabbing things and beginning to show my independence. Mom challenges me. She holds out a toy so I can reach for it. She lets me play for awhile and then she takes it away and offers a new one. I let her know real quick if I want it back :) She also lets me make some of my own decisions. We stand in my closet together and choose my clothes for the day. I touch the outfit I like best. At least that's what she thinks. I am interacting more with mom and dad and with the environment each day. There is so much to see. I am a people watcher and a nature lover.

Ha, Ha...
