HONK, HONK...BEEP, BEEP...
I finally made it to the Children's Museum! Mom and Aunt Melissa had a great time too. Mom was shocked to see how busy the Tot Spot was. It made her a little nervous. Some of those tots could run. I tried everything out. The velcro wall and the silver bead chains were my favorite. The beads reminded me of mama's hair :) I liked playing with all the different textured balls too. I could see myself in so many mirrors around the room. Who knew I could look so cute?
I played with all the switches on the wall too. I knew how to turn them on and off and little colored lights would turn on and off too. This one was the easiest for me. It is just like driving my car...spin the wheel and the light comes on. It started to rain while we were inside so we took a detour and looked around the exibits. I saw little chicks...fresh out of their eggs in the hatchery. I tried to pick one up, but it was under glass. I love little fluffy animals (esp. Sassy.)
I got to look at myself in Alice and Wonderland's crazy mirrors and take a stroll through the other exibits too. When it stopped raining we headed outside, my favorite place to be. We saw so many interesting flowers, a pond and a stream too. There were rubber ducks in there. I'm used to the real thing, but the big kids were catching the ducks in nets. That looked like fun. I think I will try that when I get a bit bigger. Mom let me play in the water a bit. She got wet! One of the fountain squirts went right up her pants leg! When we were through, mom took me to the gift shop. I knew exactly what I wanted. A bouncing, rubber atom ball. I had played with one back at the Tot Spot. It was a good day...I think I will take some friends with me next time. Mom laughed because we had not even made it out of the parking lot before I was asleep. I was EXHAUSTED! There was so much to see and do at the musuem. Next up, the zoo!

I'm an explorer!
