SUMMER DAYS!...
These are the days that mom lives for! We have so much fun together! We got outside of the Tot Spot today. We ventured into new areas of the children's museum and then into the art room too. I loved to paint! Mom was shocked because I knew exactly what to do. She helped me into my smock and then I was a little expert. I sat in a big boy chair at the easel and I used one brush at a time, returned them to their containers (mostly to the right color) and watched as each stroke moved across the paper. Mom promised that she and dad would start saving to buy an art easel and paints for the house. I painted 2 beautiful pictures that are now waiting to be framed. The 1st was created with only brush strokes and the 2nd included some finger painting and a hand print too. Mom loves my creative side! She hopes that I will have dads artistic capabilities. Mom is no artist, but she tries to encourage my abilities anyway.
Back inside the museum I got to milk a cow and check out the baby chicks too. I remembered these from the oil ranch so I knew just what to do. I milked the cow like a pro and all by myself. The "milk" was flowing right into the bucket. I was pretty excited! Then mom and I headed to the grocery store area. I worked in the meat market and handed fresh fish and chicken to mom. Then, I quickly changed occupations so I could also be the sales clerk and ring her up at the register. There were lots of fun things to see and touch and I wanted try it all!
More fun days to come!
