1.7 MILLION IS MY FAVORITE NUMBER!...
God just works in amazing ways! Mom had a really rough 2 days. It just seemed like everything was going other than as planned and she really needed a good smile. Well, we both got plenty of those today. We were the 1.7 millionth patrons at the Houston Zoo and with that came some huge surprises...horns tooting, a parade of young volunteers cheering, a goody basket filled to the brim, a years membership to the zoo, a lion dancing and more. Best of all, were given a behind the scenes tour of the reptile house and the opportunity to look and touch! We held chameleons, a snake, a pancake tortoise and more. It was an amazing opportunity and so much fun! What a beautiful day...oh so hot, but so special. It was a day that neither of us will forget.
