YIKES! YOUCH!...
Got teeth? I do. I have 2. I got my first tooth on March 30th and my second on April 1st. Grandma Malone felt it first. I bit her! I know this is not typically a nice thing for a young man to do, but I just wanted to show off my new tooth. Mom could not believe it. She had checked the day before...no teeth. The series of pictures that follow show you how much fun I had breaking these pearly white in. Mom tried it all...sponges, wash cloths, teething rings and toys, oragel and rubbing gums...I made it.

Their in!

I'M AN EXPLORER...
I'm getting good at this game. I can find her nose and her lips and her cheeks...I leave scratches too. Mom likes to copy me. When I find her nose she finds mine. We try to copy eachothers voices too. Dad is good at this game. I try to trick him by adding lots of slobber to mine and making my new razzing sounds.

Kissy lips, big white teeth...where are mine?

DADDY DOES IT DIFFERENT...
Mom left me at home with Dad. Dad's just do it different. I had a lion on my head! Why does he love to put things on my head? I was smiling so I guess it's okay for now. We made a mess so I had to change clothes. Then, I was just worn out. Dad put me to sleep in the living room floor with his pillow and blanket. Thanks for sharing dad, but I have a crib. You should come to my room next time.

From playtime to naptime, dad's do it differnt.

I'M NOT IN THE MOOD...
Maybe I just take too many pictures, but Reagan was not the mood to capture these moments. In his first pic he is 21 weeks old. He has on his safari gear. Quite stylish if I do say so myself. Notice the feet. The camera does not do them justice, but we know which pieces of him came from his daddy. Reagan has his Daddy's lips and tongue...he can fold it in the middle...I can't. He has his dad's narrow hips and long body. You've seen the feet. And, the eyebrows are not mine either. Anyone wondering where the swirl in his hair came from. I found it on Preston just last night. We will have lots of fun combing his hair in the years to come...Reagan has 3 swirls.
In the second picture, Reagan is sitting in his high chair for the first time. I know we will use it more and more as time goes on. Right now...play time while mom and dad eat.

Don't worry I will smile in the next one...

TABLE MANNERS?...
What are you teaching me? I have my feet on the table and I am flying through the air? I thought I was asked to stay in my seat and be respectful of those who were enjoying their dinner around me. New rules...keep your hat on indoors and play, play, play...

Grandma Hamm and Dad worked at the Bridal Show all day so we decided to have dinner together.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDPA!...
Before I was born mom tried to come up with all kinds of names for Grandpa Malone. Old Man, Pops, Daddy-O, PeaPa, and the list goes on. Grandpa decided that those names made him feel old and maybe a little silly. Guess what Grandpa...you are older. Happy 55th Birthday! I hope you have a wonderful day filled with all the things that make you the happiest! Of course you will have to wait to see me...I love you and Mom says she loves you too.

IN A SEA OF BLUE...
We took a trip today to good 'ol Chapel Hill...we saw a sea of blue. Before today I had only touched grass in my front yard. This was a new experience. The sun was so bright and the grass so green. I got my first bright green grass stain and mom was covered in ants. I can honestly say that bluebonnets as beautiful as they are taste AWEFUL! I got a mouth full and then screamed. Mom thought about tasting one too, but after my experience decided against it. Overall it was a great day. Me, Mom and Grandma had lots of fresh air and quality chit chat time.

20 weeks...a mother's joy...
How can it be that 20 weeks have gone by so fast? It is hard to believe that my little man is so big. I can only begin to tell you what a joy he is in my life. I wake up each morning and thank God that I have him and I close my eyes each night knowing that the next day will hold even more joy. Reagan is mild mannered, patient and calm...I don't know who he got that from...probably his Grandma Malone. He is sweet and snuggly. He lets me love on him as much as I want...constantly. I could not ask for more. He loves to sit in my lap or lay on the floor beside me and just talk or read books. He listens to music and dances around the living room with me...I'm sure these days are numbered. He even hums along to the best of Celine Dion. It is amzing how much he enjoys the songs I sang when he was just a little peanut in my belly. We take walks outside and listen to the birds and all the dogs barking in the neighborhood. We watch the trees move and dream of summer days when I can be at home with him again. We make promises too. I tell him about all the things we are going to do as a family and how much I miss him when we are apart. Reagan is my Little Trooper, my Pedie Pablo, One Eyed Pirate, Sugar Booger, Giggle Box...his nicknames go on and on, but most of all he is this mother's JOY, my heart, all my ambition and all my love.

Reagan...this mama's joy

NEW KICKS...
I was so excited to wear my new shoes. Deryk and Tracy sent them to me from CT. Dad thinks it is great...Mom thinks I am growing up too fast.
Mom doesn't know how this picture ended up upside down...she must be really tired!

Hey look at me...new kicks, go fasters, tennies...

GIGGLE BOX...
I am 4 months old and a little giggle box. Mom and Dad just think I am the funniest thing ever...making me laugh is the highlight of their day. Mom says I am doing great with talking...I can say most of my vowel sounds and I am working on other combinations. I pause when others are speaking and watch their mouths too. I can copy sounds I hear...I'm sure you can imagine all the sounds I hear from Dad. He's a pretty funny guy.

There is nothing cuter than a giggle box at 4 months old

DINNER VERSUS SLEEP...
What can I say? I play all day and I just get tired. Dinner sounded good, but sleep sounded even better. Don't worry...mom got me to eat a few minutes later.

So tired...me and my cry baby just have to close our eyes a minute.

CHURCH BOY...
I finally made it to church. Mom and Dad took me to the 8 am service on March 12th. Jersey Village Baptsit Church is the church Mom grew up in. She thought the 8 am service would be best because it is the senior citizen service...they are very forgiving esp. when a little man like me is involved. I was the center of attention before and after the service. Mom and Dad were so impressed by my church boy behavior. I hardly made a peep. Dad only had to take me out one time so mom could get my bottle ready. No loud screams and no loud burps either. I did good. I have to say though...those services are pretty long...I couldn't help falling asleep.

Me and Mom on my first very windy day at church.

LOOK WHAT I CAN DO...
Mom is amazed by all I can do. She is always taking pictures. I can lift my legs and bend them at the knee. If I am on my belly I can reach for my knees too. I am lift my head and link my fingers together and then relax in my Bumbo chair. These pictures may be a little distorted. Mom is still learning how to resize things.

All the wonderful things I can do...I feel like a big boy.

NICE KITTY...
I am 18 weeks old here with my leopard. Mom was having to work hard for these pics...I wasn't giving away smiles. I was ready to play.

I'm a gator on the go.

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME BASEBALL?...
Baseball season requires a good baseball hat and all the gear...I'm ready. Put me in Coach. I'm ready to play.

Reagan in his first baseball hat

WHY ON MY HEAD?
Ha ha ha...my dad thinks he is so funny. He is always putting things on my head. He thought I looked like a jesture with my pants on top and then pierre with my washcloth. I prefer hats or better yet...just my hair. I'm not smiling, but mom and dad were.

Someday I may laugh at these pictures...not now

GOT TEETH?
I'm getting mine. I chew on EVERYTHING..including my cry baby puppy that Grandpa Malone sent to me. He is extra soft and squishy. Mom likes to rub him on my face and legs. I just grin and giggle a bit. I LOVE IT! I am a thumb sucker too. I used to chew on my whole fist, but these days I can find my thumb alone. I even go to sleep with it in my mouth. It is better than my paci because I can always get my thumb back in my mouth if it falls out. I can't believe how good things taste. Toys, blankets, shirts, teething rings and skin...it is all the same to me. CHEW, CHEW, CHEW...I love my little teethies!

ANYONE SEEN MY CELL PHONE?
I am ready to call my friends and family from my new Exersaucer. I still bobble a bit, but I am having a great time playing and holding my own head for short periods of time. Mom has to stuff blankets in front of my belly to fill in the space. Even at 17 pounds I am a bit too small for the bucket seat. I am 26 inches tall and my feet can touch the bottom of my Exersaucer when it is set to the lowest height. How did Mom and Dad ever make it as babies? They didn't have any of this cool stuff. Plastic, plastic and more plasitc...it is the new learning tool.

VROOM...
I do a great job of riding these days. I love to get outside. In my stroller or in the car; I'm a traveling man.

Reagan is on the road again.

PARTY TIME...
I don't know what all the fuss is about. A bunch of women eatting little cakes and talking about baby stuff. I was the excitement! I spit up on 3 people and sprinkled the floor instead of my diaper. After all that I was out! Bring on the girl Aunt Les. I'm ready to meet her...

Reagan passes out after a long afternoon of baby showering.

HIP HOP AT 16 WEEKS...
This week was a busy one. It felt like I was hopping from one place to the next. Mom had to go back to teaching kindergarten and I started going to Ms. Desiree's house. I had lots of fun playing with Ms. Des. I greeted her with smiles and giggles every morning. Mom calls and checks on me at lunch and I'm just talking away. All that said, mom is really glad that she has this week off for spring break. It could not have come at a better time. We have lots of play time to catch up on. Mom is counting down the days until summer vacation.

Reagan is 16 weeks old and hip hoppin' already.

MY PARENTS ARE OFFICIAL...I YEAR!
Mom and dad celebrated their 1 year anniversary this weekend. Grandma Malone came over to my house and played so mom and dad could go out to dinner. This is only the 2nd time mom and dad have been gone. I felt free! Grandma takes good care of me and teaches me new games too. Did you see my mom's hair? I have to really work at grabbing it these days. She donated 16 inches to Locks of Love and is left with a new due. I recognized her voice right away, but it took me a minute to realize mom was mom with that hair. I am the greatest gift to them. They tell me that everyday!

Mom, dad and me on their 1 year anniversary!

I'M THE CHAMPION OF THE WORLD...
At least my parents think so. Mom had to take most of my toys to Ms. Desiree's house...that means I have all new toys at home. Here is part of my new weight set. It just happens to rattle. I am doing really well at grabbing things and trying to hold on tight.

I try to do a few reps each day to keep up my muscular physique.

HERE DUCKY, DUCKY...
Just like mom and dad I love nature. We go to the duck pond as often as we can. Mom and dad save bread for the ducks and they follow us all around the pond. I like to listen to the fountain and all the quacking. It makes me smile and giggle a bit too. I focus hard on all the trees and squint my eyes when the sun is too bright. I love to feel the wind and I am instantly calm outdoors. We are going to miss these trips when mom goes back to work...she will have to take me on the weekend.

Reagan loves the outdoors.

WHAT MOM?...
Reagan is playing hard these days and wearing himself out with all his exercises. You can see the improvement in him lifting his head. He prefers to play on his back, but we are encouraging him to spend more time on his belly.

Reagan takes a long look around our living room.

3 MONTHS OLD AND LOOKIN' GOOD...
Mom says I look like a little Oxford Boy. She is already preping me for Harvard or Yale. As long as I can take my jungle friends with me I think I can manage. I am 15.04 pounds and 24.98 inches long. I'm a big boy with a big heart and lots of smiles. 3 months has gone by so fast and mom will soon be on her way back to work. It will take a lot of adjusting for all of us...esp. mom. I keep telling her that we will spend lots of time together this summer. We are already planning Gymboree trips and swimming adventures with Julia. Big boys get to do lots of fun things!

Reagan Gentry is 3 months old.

MUSHY STUFF...
I haven't figured girls out yet. I know I have my mom wrapped around my little finger, but as for Julia I'm not so sure. We sure make a cute couple though. Our mom's paired us up for our 3 month pictures on Valentine's Day. Neither one of us was smiling.

ALL YA NEED IS LOVE, LOVE...
Happy Valentine's Day. Here I am with the love of my life...my mama. Grandpa Malone sent me my first Valentine gift...new clothes and some x's and o's.

Reagan is all lovey on his first Valentine's Day.

CAN I HAVE A BITE?...
These days everything goes in my mouth. I have decided that fabric and skin taste good. Maybe it is the textures. Mom laughs because I always have my hands in my mouth. I try to chew on her shirt and mine too. This is my new favorite toy. It is a 24 inch long caterpillar and each section feel differnt. Talk about alot of tasting. The purple legs are not my favorite. I prefer the black and white crinkle portion. This toy makes a great head rest and an enjoyable snack.

Reagan explores his caterpillar with his mouth.

WHAT A WORKOUT!...
I was all smiles as I played on my mat. I worked up an appetite. I am eating 5-6 ounces every 3-4 hours these days. I am growing like a weed. I am even trying to help mom feed me. I try to hold the bottle. I am enjoying my oatmeal and now I am even trying a little rice. I can't wait to eat real food. I' m sure I will love fruit and peanut butter sandwiches. Mom says that is what she ate when I was in her belly.

Mr. RGT enjoying his daily events...food and play makes a happy baby.

I LOVE WINTER!...
The groundhog saw his shadow and now I get 8 more weeks of winter. That is great for me. I get to wear all my warm Pj's and snuggle into cozy laps and warm blankets. I was beginning to think I would outgrow my jammies before I saw cold weather again. These days I am wearing 6-9 month clothes. I have a long lean body and gigantic feetsies. I have my mama's face, my daddy's body and a gummy smile that will melt any heart. You should hear me talk. My little raspy voice keeps mom and dad laughing.

Hello winter! Hello snuggly, warm PJ's.

I SEE FISH!...
If you give me fish, I can be happy anywhere...even waiting for an Upper GI. I actually liked the taste of barium;or at least I drank it. I guzzled it down like it was no big deal. I didn't like the baby bottle they gave me though. Mom had to put it in one of my own. I am a trooper. I'm not so sure about the clowns on this gown though. They are not so cute and this gown feels like burlap.

WHAT A WEEK!...
This week has held many exciting milestones. First, my Grandma Malone and I shared the same birthday. I turned 12 weeks old and she...is aging gracefully. We had a great Mexican dinner with the family to celebrate. Grandma got to wear a silly hat. It was too big for me.
I've traveled a bit this week too. I got to go to the grocery store. I loved the lights. The sounds were pretty neat too. So, I added to them by crying a bit. I was ready to get home.
The bottle you see in the picture is a special mix. I am now getting a teaspoon of oatmeal with my formula. I think it tastes great! Mom and Dad think it smells funny. It will probably enhance my curves...Mom calls them muscles.
My eyes are changing color again. They are getting lighter. They still have a blue gray look to them, but when Mom stares deep into my eyes she sees green. We do a lot of looking at eachother.
I am right on track with my hand eye coordination too. I reached for and held onto my new toy this week. Mom was so excited. She had been reading that I should be able to do that soon. I am also giggling in my sleep. Mom thinks this is histarical! It sounds like a big boy laugh...she keeps trying to get me to do it while I am awake. Mostly I just smile gummy smiles. My parents love those gums...wait till I get teeth...they will really be excited then.

Reagan gets his first taste of big boy food--oatmeal.

ANYONE HUNGRY?...
Mom fed me before we ever left the house, but the rest of my family was still hungry. We all got together to share in some family time and good food. Grandma had exclusive rights for the evening. I curled up in her lap. She had to eat one handed. I laughed at Uncle Jeff and thought Uncle Scott was pretty too. Aunt Courtney had to man my diaper bag...I needed several things during dinner. Mom and Dad were able to enjoy a good meal and giggle as I made funny faces. They talked about me all night...I guess that is what all new parents do. I am happy to be on the road and able to share in more family experiences and fun with friends. I will need to start off slow, but freedom is a good feeling.

Reagan eats out with the family for the first time.

I'M SO EXCITED...
I am 11 weeks old and I have finally earned my freedom. I was ready to go as soon as I saw my carseat. I've been at home for long enough...I had my family waiting on me and I was ready for the meet and greet.

Reagan smiles on his first day of freedom.
