REAGAN'S LIST...
Here lies a 12 year old, mostly deaf and blind dog. He is full of toots and barks in the night at the "sound" of nothing. Yes, this is the life of Buster and he drives my mama crazy! If you are looking for an ol' man dog who will drop hairs, hobble down the hallway and act as if you can not see him as he tries to sneak into the room then we have the dog for you. I am sure he will be happy to snarf and drool for you just the same as he does here.
THE PRICE YOU MAY ASK--FREE TO A CARPETLESS HOME...unless you ask dad!

THRILLED TO BE AT MONSTER JAM AGAIN!...
It was the thrill show and my cousin Wesley was just 2 sections over. Thank you Aunt Kay for our tickets! It was the perfect family outing--a real THRILLER!
It was a new line up of Monster Trucks and lots of ROARING fun. I was so proud to sport my Shell Shock Ninja Turtle gear. We saw him a few weeks ago at the races. Mom could hardly keep me on my seat or my flag out of faces unless I was reading the Monster Truck 2010 yearbook. I have already picked my favorites, read up on their trophies won and made several requests to go to Nationals in Vegas to see the finals--maybe next year.
Grave Digger was the big winner for the night. He did some pretty cool jumps in reverse during his freestyle run, but I really wanted Toro Loco to win it. Yes, there were tears as we climbed the stairs to exit. "GRAVE DIGGER ALWAYS WINS!" So, mom and dad made a special run just for me. It was a little red neck, but we stopped at Wal-Mart on the way home to add to my monster truck collection. We found Monster Mutt Dalmation, Maximum Destruction and Donkey Kong right off. I was SOOOOO excited. Then the fact that it was already 11:00 kicked in and the tears started flowing yet again. We did not find Batman or the Turtle. Mom had no idea there were so many. So, the searching continues and it is well worth the added effort. I tucked each monster truck into my bed last night and woke this morning to recreate the entire evening. There was jumping, flipping, racing and crashing happening right in my playroom.

THE NOT SO SLIMY SALAMANDER...
He is more like a cricket eating, smooshy pillow that mom brought home from school for the weekend. I watched him eat...it was a little aggressive, but super cool too. 2 more weeks brings yet another new animal--I think it is a Boa. Yes, the Taylor house really is like a zoo, but how could mom resist this opportunity? Could you hold one? Dad did.

DECONTAMINATE!...
DISGUSTING!
So, maybe you know and maybe you don't know, but mom recently found out through allergy testing that she is allergic to wheat (cut out all gluten), soy and nuts (cut out all nuts and beans.) It has been an interesting discovery to say the least--she is not exactly sure what to eat. Sure, there are cook books, but we have not won the cooking 7 days a week challenge yet. Working hard to do 3-4. Anyway, when mom became ill Friday night she thought it was a food issue. Some of here students had been sick in class, but she is a mega washer at school. How could she have contracted the bug?--oh yeah, report cards were due and she tested every kid face to face and one on one that week. GERMY to say the least. Well, it was a long night, but come morning she was feeling much better. We headed out of town for Ella Bella's 2nd B-day. By the way--WE ARE SO SORRY we brought you the bug Meme! All was well until Saturday afternoon when I stated crying. My ribs were hurting and I just could not get over it. I even offered to put myself to bed for a rest--UT, OH! The evening continued and I played well with Ella. We had a BLAST and I ate fairly well considering what was to come. Sunday around 2 we headed back home and I was none the worse for ware save my asthma related cough. So, Monday morning mom took me to the doctor to see about that and get my second 4 year old injection (MMR because mom split them up this go round.) The doc put me back on my inhailer and advised I take something to help with the conjestion as well. Mom told him about my ribs and he was not offering a solution. So, off we went. We ate a yummy late lunch at home and settled in for a little rest. I had not interest in eatting dinner and mom soon discovered why. I was on the brink of something quite disgusting...something I had never experienced 4 times over. I was out like a light by 7:01 and THANK GOD mom had the energy to pull herself out of my bed and make it to her room. Because by 7:15 my bed looked like nothing I could recognize and that would have been my mom otherwise. Now multiply the mess by 4 and you get the idea. Every bed in our house was covered and our washer and dryer were working overtime plus some. Mom was washing sheets in our bathtub just to get them ready for the washer. Every sheet, every blanket, every pillow, quilt and so forth made its way into our washer over the course of 3 days. Oh, a mothers love is never fleeting. So, a very long story short I am still recovering from this nasty bug. I was dehydrated and running fever as a result. I must have dropped 2 pounds this last week and I am still pretty picky about what I want to eat. Looking back, mom realizes that she should have never given it a second thought...throwing up=staying at home even when you hate to miss the ones you love.

TOTALLY 2!...
Princess Ella Bella is 2! After spending Friday night in fear that we may not be able to make the trip to Tyler, we were on our way. We spent the weekend going buggy! We dressed up, cooked in her new play kitchen and sampled lots of snacks--especially bits of chocolate. Ella must have said my name 150 times and I think I returned the favor. We're in love! I look out for her and she looks out for me--unless we want the same toy...then it is game on. Happy 2nd birthday Ella. We wish we could be with you every weekend. We love you and your parents too!

THE MOST OF MONSTER JAM!...
THE LINE UP WAS...
Arachnophobia
Shock Therapy
Shell Shock
Martial Law
Gave Digger
Maximum Destruction
Air Force After Burn
Brutus
El Toro Loco
Rod Ryan-Sunny 99.1
King Krunch
Spike
Instigator
Excalibur

The smell of exhaust was the first thing that hit you as you walked through the doors and we were glad to be bundled. IT WAS FREEZING IN THERE! We had our "EARMUFFINS" on and we were ready for the show. We had great seats thanks to Uncle Jeff and we enjoyed each moment of the screaming, rip-roaring, fire burning, wheels flying, truck flipping fun. By the end of the night only 2 trucks remained. The rest were pushed, pulled or carried off the dirt. We all agreed that one show is just not enough. Next year...we're planning on season passes (all 3 shows) and if we are really lucky a trip to Nationals. That is every boys dream.

WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS...
Pick each and every one of them. They will make an amazing lemon-rosemary chicken come dinner.

FARMING IN THE NEW YEAR...
It had been way to long since our last farming adventures. I was longing to drive the Kabota and feed all my animals. I have to keep a close watch on a few cows in particular (peanut butter and marshmallow. By the way, you should always name a calf after food.)
Me, mom and dad headed to Bellville the morning of New Year's day. Mawmaws and Tim knew exactly what I would want to do so they intentionally "starved" the animals the night before. They were right...as soon as my rubber boots hit the muddy dirt I was ready to go! I am a child of habit and believe me I am not letting go of this one. I love the farm. I love driving. I love the animals. I love the freedom the choose orange caffeinated drinks from the outdoor fridge and smile as I slurp them! And this day in particular brought even more fun given Uncle Jeff and Amanda were there too. It was a real farm fun time...until I got tired. Then it was a bit silly, pretty noisy and mom saying silent prayers that I would sleep on the way home. Our bellies were full. New Year's tradition calls for a wealth of disgusting foods, but Mawmaws and Tim camouflaged it in some pretty delicious ways. You could not even taste the cabbage for the potatoes--and I was glad. Top that off with homemade desserts. Oh wow! There was pumpkin cheesecake with cinnamon wipped cream topping and cherry pie. We were set. How could this year go wrong? 2010 is sure to be filled with wonderful adventures and even more great food. Happy New Year!

TWENTY TEN--HAPPY NEW YEAR!
We were asleep by 9:30, but it was the New Year somewhere and we celebrated it just the same. Mom could barely capture a picture given I was busy running down the sidewalk with sparklers. I LOVED THEM! No fear for fireworks here. In fact, I actually slept through the lingering booms...they continued into the wee hours of the morn.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! We hope that first and foremost this year brings you health and happiness.

BIRTHDAY FUN EVEN WITHOUT THE SUN...

IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME AGAIN!...
We celebrated with Grandpa Malone and Donna at Uncle Jeff's house. We stuffed our bellies full of scrumptious food before digging into the gifts.
AND AGAIN...
We celebrated a Holiday Combo with Grandpa Taylor and the fam. Technically it was 2010, but our tree was still up and rightfully so...we were enjoying it!. This celebration was casual. It was an afternoon of lounging, football and pizza. There were lots of veggies too...I stuffed my cheeks full to look like my hamsters.

BREAKFAST...THE BEST MEAL OF THE DAY!...
My great-grandma (Mamaw--she is my mom's dad's mom) came to visit for the holidays. We played host and hostess for a few days and I am so thankful for the time we had together. It is not often that you get to spend 72 hours in close quarters learning eachothers every move. I learned pretty fast though...Mamaw loves breakfast! She is up and ready for the full meal every morning. We had toast, bacon, eggs, bacon, pancakes, bacon, fresh fruit and more bacon every morning...can I just say YUMMY! It was a feast for me!
Mamaw has an amazing memory. She can tell you stories from way back when and back again. Mom loves to hear the stories of when she was a little girl and what things were like 70 plus years ago.
Mamaw is considering making a move to Houston. She is not feeling as well as she would like and is looking into some of the independent living facilities in the area. Please be praying that she will stay strong, feel healthy and be able to make the best decision for her future. It is difficult to make such a big change, but we may have more time together afterall. She is already planning her next trip. Even with all the holiday chaos, a good share of RGT whines and no one sleeping well...SHE LOVES ME!

THE BEST PART OF THE HOLIDAYS...FAMILY

Add a little whip cream to the evening and we quickly realized just how tired we all were.

SANTA CAME TO MY HOUSE FIRST!...

LEARNING TO BE GRACIOUS...
It was lesson time. If you open a gift and suddenly discover that it is not what you expected what should you do? I quickly learned what not to do. You do not under any circumstances, throw the gift, say "I don't like that or That is not what I wanted" or pout. You should on the other hand thank your mommy for trying to find you something you would enjoy while encouraging you to use your gross motor skills to improve your future baseball pitch. Moral of the story...be gracious. It took me all of 5 minutes to realize the error of my ways. I made a real effort to apologize to mom and tell her thank you for my gift. I even threw in a few minutes of play with the unwanted gift and a dozen extra kisses for mom. I guess the greatest gift this go round was a lesson in itself. Be gracious.

CHRISTMAS IS SPELLED, F-A-M-I-L-Y + L-O-V-E...
It's a compound word :)

SUPERMARKET FUN...
Grandpa Malone, Daddy and Uncle Dusty have worked in one. I thought I should give it a-go. Scan it all--fruits, veggies, cans. I could do this all day!

DILAPIDATED GINGERBREAD HOUSE...
Let's just say it was not as easy as we thought, but more on that later.
